Mal wanted non-traditional headshots

We worked together on a mood board and narrowed down a unique vision - professional but not stuffy. We met up in the early morning at Washington Square Park. We walked around, talking and taking pictures throughout. She gave me a walking tour of the area (I felt very New York by the end of it) and the entire morning was seriously so laidback and fun. Toward the end of the shoot, she somewhat-jokingly hopped up on a railing to pose and it ended up being my absolute favorite from the day. I love that we were able to get professional photos that still showcased her personality.
