My dear friends had just gotten engaged and I was fortunate enough to help them document some moments together as a newly engaged couple. We drove out to Tonganoxie, KS, to a gorgeous sunflower field that went on forever.

We arrived just in time for golden hour and walked through the fields together capturing some photos throughout. After we wrapped up, I mentioned an abandoned stone building on the side of the road that was close by, and on a whim, we decided to go. And I’m so glad we did.

We got out of the car and took some moody shots during twilight – they ended up being some of my favorites. Moriyah and Colton are so cool, I didn’t even instruct them on how to pose, they just walked up to the house and killed it.
